Why is sleeping child in the hands of beggars? Have you ever wondered

ti_kanoyn_oi_zitianoi_sta_paidia_poy_ehoyn_mazi_kai_koimoyntai_synehos

This is an article I came across months ago. We are not sure of the author. However we’ve checked the authenticity of this with our followers in Bangkok and Cambodia. Surprisingly this seems to be true and their request is only to offer beggars with food and water and not money. Any hlp you can do in terms of their needs are just fine. But make sure you do not hand over big bills that will keep the begging industry going. You should be wise enough to know whom to help and how to help. Make your decision based on the situation and knowing it well enough.

“”Near the metro station sits a woman of uncertain age. Women’s hair is confused and dirty, her head bowed in grief.

The woman sits on the dirty floor and next to her lies a bag. In that bag people throw money. On the hands of a woman, asleep, is a two year old baby. He’s in a dirty hat and dirty clothes.

“Madonna with baby” – numerous passers-by will donate money. The people of our kind- we always feel sorry for less fortunate. We are ready to give unfortunate people the last shirt, the last penny out of your pocket and never think another issue. Helping, seems like. “Good job done”…

I walked past a beggar for a month. Did not give any money, as I knew that this is a gang operated scam and money collected by the beggar will be given to whoever controls beggars in the area. Those people own numerous luxury properties and cars. Oh and beggar also gets something, of course “ A bottle of vodka in the evening and a döner kebab”. A month later, walking past the beggars, as shock, it suddenly hit me….

I’m staying at a busy crossing, stared at the baby, dressed as always- dirty track suit. I realized that it seemed “wrong”, finding a child in a dirty underground station from morning to evening. The baby slept. Never sobbed or screamed, always asleep, burying his face in the knee of a woman who was his MUM.
Do any of you, dear readers, have children? Remember how often they slept at the age of 1-2-3 years? Hour two, maximum three (not consecutive) afternoon nap, and again – movement. For the whole month, every day of my walking in the underground, I’ve never seen a child awake! I looked at the tiny little man, with his face buried in the knee of his mother, then at the beggar, and my suspicion was gradually formed. – Why he sleeps all the time? I asked, staring at the baby.

The beggar pretended not to hear me. She lowered her eyes and hid her face in the collar of her shabby jacket. I repeated the question. The woman again looked up. She looked somewhere behind my back, tired with utter irritation. Her look was similar to the creatures from a different planet. – F *** off … her lips murmured. -Why is he asleep?! I almost cried …

Behind me someone put his hand on my shoulder. I looked back. A some old man was looking at me disapprovingly:

– What do you want from her? Can’t you see how hard she’s got it in her life… Eh …
He gets some coins from his pocket and throws them in the beggar’s bag.

Beggar made a hand wave of a cross, portraying the face of humility and universal grief. The guy removed his hand from my shoulder and strolled out of the underground station. I bet, at home, he will tell how he defended poor, distraught woman from a soulless man in a tube station.

Next day I called a friend. It was a funny man with eyes like olives Romanian nationality. He only managed to complete three and a half years of education. The complete lack of education does not prevent him from moving around the City streets on very expensive foreign cars and live in a “small” house with countless number of windows and balconies. From my friend I managed to find out that this business, despite the apparent spontaneity, clearly organized. Its supervised by begging organized crime rings. The children used are in “rent” from families of alcoholics, or simply stolen.

I needed to get the answer to the question – why is the baby sleeping? And I received it. My friend Gypsy said the phrase, completely ordinary with calm voice that twisted me in shock, just like he was talking about weather report: -They are on heroin, or vodka …

I was dumbfounded. “Who is on heroin? Whom – under vodka?! ” He answered -The Child, so he doesn’t scream. The women will be sitting whole day with him, imagine how he might get bored?

In order to make the baby slept the whole day, it pumped up with vodka or drugs. Of course, children’s bodies are not able to cope with such a shock. And children often die. The most terrible thing – sometimes children die during the “working day”. And imaginary mother must hold another dead child on her hands until the evening. These are the rules. And the by passers-by will throw some money in the bag, and believe that they are moral. Helping “mother alone” …

… The next day I was walking near the same underground station. I stocked up journalistic identity, and was ready for a serious conversation. But the conversation didn’t work out. But turned out the following … A woman was sitting on the floor and in her hands she was holding a child. I asked her a question about the documents on the child, and, most importantly, where was yesterday’s kid, which she simply ignored. My questions were not ignored by passers-by. I was told that I was out of my mind screaming at poor beggar with a child. All in all, I was escorted out of the tube station in disgrace. One thing remained was to call the police. When police arrived, beggar with the baby disappeared. I stood with a full sense of – “I’m trying to fight windmills”.

When you see in the subway, on the street whether women with children, begging, think before your hand climb for money. Think about that, if it wasn’t for your hundreds of thousands of handouts, the business like this would have died. The business would die and not the children-inflated with vodka or drugs. Do not look at the sleeping child with affection. See horror… Since you’re reading this article, you know now- why the child is sleeping in beggars hands.

Leading wicket takers in cricket World Cup history

World Cups are the best opportunity for every player in the team to rise up and take their team to the high of World Cup champions. Though cricket is a team game where 11 players decide the faith of every match and eventually the tournament but, every champion team has had that one player who out performed all to help the team claim title. Bowlers have played decisive role in world cups as well, so here are the Leading wicket takers in cricket world cup history.

As the stage is being set for the 2015 world cup in Australia and New Zealand, teams are digging under the usual cover to extract out the talent that they can add to their arsenals. And now that the ICC’s premier most tournament is hosted by a bowler intensified country. Here’s a look at those bowlers who have dominated batsmen in this tournament in the past.

1.Glenn McGrath (Australia)

Among this pool of 10 bowlers there is this one man who stands out as the highest wicket taker, to be accurate (of course not as much as he used to be) it is Glenn McGrath. The Australian pacer beats every other competitor by a mile, not only for the number of wickets he clubbed but also the impact that he had over the opponents. He was an integral and remarkable member of the super dominant Australian team which won 3 World Cups in a row and lost no game in the process. McGrath leads the trends here even after 7 years of retirement with 71 wickets the highest by any bowler in world cup history in 39 matches that he played in the tournament.

2.Muttiah Muralitharan (Sri Lanka)

Following the Aussie is another champion bowler Murlitharan the Sri Lankan spin magician. Murli spun apart his opponents in the 40 matches that he has played in world cups and has taken 68 wickets in the process only 3 behind the all-time high. The highest wicket taker in cricket is also in the top range of this stream.

3.Wasim Akram (Pakistan)

Wasim Akram the Pakistan swing bowling Demi God, an undisputed master of his art has to be a part when leading wicket takers are discussed. He was also a proud member of the World Cup winning team for Pak under Imran Khan. Wasim played a key role in their success with 55 wickets in 38 games of his world cup cricket career. Apart from this Akram is also the highest wicket taker in ODI cricket with 500 wickets to his name.

4.Chaminda Vaas (Sri Lanka)

Chaminda Vaas had this quality and habit of picking wickets, something every skipper would want his lead bowler to have. Vaas early in the innings would tangle; strangle batsmen with his upto the mark, right on the money swing bowling. Very much disciplined bowler Vaas also mastered the art of seam and reverse swing to an extent. Thus this champion bowler from the Island country Sri Lanka, the best fast bowler that they have produced takes the 4th place in the world with 49 wickets in 31 matches.

5.Zaheer Khan (India)

At number 5 is who can be called one of the craftiest bowlers for India Zaheer Khan. A young Zak knew how and where to bowl also a little bit of swing bowling. And as he grew older, wiser in experience added all the fast bowling tricks in his kitty. Conventional swing, reverse swing, the slower ball, the slow bouncer, Knuckle Ball something he personally developed and mastered. It is hard to imagine how India would have done or feared in the 2011 world cup without Zaheer who was the to go bowler for MS Dhoni and whenever the skipper handed him the ball Zak responded with a wicket or two. In his entire world cup journey of 23 matches the left-arm pace bowler has picked 44 wickets.

6.Javagal Srinath (India)

The ICC match refree in the present Javagal Srinath was India’s pace spearhead in his days. Sri would go the extra mile push himself harder every time he got an opportunity and has ensured his name in the cricketing record books in bright letters. Srinath played for India in 4 world cup’s 34 games overall and picked 44 wickets tied with Zaheer Khan as leading wicket taker for India in World Cup cricket.

7.Allan Donald (South Africa)

At number 7 is Alan Donald the guy whose aggressive run-up and bowling saw batsmen shivering. He is one of the best fast bowlers that South Africa has produced. Donald ruled and dominated fast bowling in the country for more than a decade. A very competent bowler, never let the batsmen relax he featured in 25 matches in the world cup and scalped 38 wickets with the best bowling figures of 4/17.

8.Jacob Oram (New Zealand)

Jacob Oram the tallest New Zealander is also among the top bowler who hails from the country. Oram has played 23 matches for the Kiwi’s in world cups and picked up 36 wickets in the process. He is also an underrated player and many a times his performances went un-noticed. Also a stable batsman Oram at the same time was a good batsman lower in the order. He is placed at number 8 in the all time list of highest wicket takers.

9.Brett Lee (Australia)

In the 2000’s Brett Lee defined fast bowling and inspired young pacers across the globe. Lee a real energetic athlete participated in all the departments of the game, giving more than 100% all the time. Bowled pace, real pace clocking in access of 150 kmph consistently, he also moved the ball laterally. It was not easy to take on him even when the ball did not move and that is where his strength lied. A cool tempered bowler had a really intelligent cricketing brain and it reflects in the success he has had for Aussies with 35 wickets in 17 games Lee is at no. 9 in the top 10.

10.Brad Hogg (Australia)

Following the top 9 in the list of leading wicket takers in world cup history is the Chinaman from Australia. Hogg despite the presence of Shane Warne helped himself a place in the Aussie limited overs line up and at times even bowled better than his team-mate. Hogg mixed it up quite well and on most times the batsmen had little idea how to tackel him which helped him further as he took 34 wickets in 21 world cup games. With his fighting attitude and variation filled bowling Hogg occupies the last spot in the top 10 of the leading wicket taker in world cup history

Artistic Wife doodles on Husbands Nissan Skyline but ends up turning it into a masterpiece

It's amazing what an artist can achieve with a sharpie pen! Take a look at this Nissan Skyline… it was once a regular silver car that got transformed by the talented hands of the lady you see below. She has made the car completely unique and it definitely stands out from the rest! It all started from a few minor scratches on the bumper of the car. The guy that owns this Nissan asked his wife to doodle over them to cover them up. When he saw how creative her drawings were, he asked her to continue over the whole car! It took her around 100 hours to completely cover the car before they coated it with several layers of sealant to protect it. Check out the pictures below of the awesome transformation.
