Parking ticket‏

Working people frequently ask retired
people what

they do to make their days
interesting.

Well, for example, the other
day, Marie my wife and I

went into town and visited a
shop.

When we came out, there was a
cop writing out a parking ticket.

We went up to him and I said,
'Come on, man,

how about giving a senior
citizen a break?'

He ignored us and continued
writing the ticket.

I called him an “a**hole” . He
glared at me and started

writing another ticket for
having worn-out tires.

So Marie called him a “dick
head”. He finished the

second ticket and put it on
the windshield with the first.

Then he started writing more
tickets.

This went on for about 20
minutes.

The more we abused him, the
more tickets he wrote.

Just then our bus arrived, and
we got on it

and went home.

We try to have a little fun
each day now that we're retired.

It's important at our age.!

Doctor - Pregnancy - killing a child

A worried woman went to her gynecologist and said:

'Doctor, I have a serious problem and desperately need your help! My baby is not even 1 year old,

and I'm pregnant again. I don't want kids so close together.

So the doctor said: 'Ok and what do you want me to do?'

She said: 'I want you to end my pregnancy, and I'm counting on your help with this.'

The doctor thought for a little, and after some silence he said to the lady: 'I think I have a

better solution for your problem. It's less dangerous for you too.'

She smiled, thinking that the doctor was going to accept her request.

Then he continued: 'You see, in order for you not to have to take care of 2 babies at the same

time, let's kill the one in your arms. This way, you could rest some before the other one is born.
If we're going to kill one of them, it doesn't matter which one it is. There would be no risk for
your body if you chose the one in your arms.

The lady was horrified and said: 'No doctor! How terrible! It's a crime to kill a child!

'I agree', the doctor replied. 'But you seemed to be ok with it, so I thought maybe that was the
best solution. The doctor smiled, realizing that he had made his point.

He convinced the mom that there is no difference in killing a child that's already been born and

one that's still in the womb. The crime is the same!

Five Reasons why Allah uses problems

Five Reasons why Allah uses problems

The problems you face will either defeat you or develop you – depending on how you respond to them.

Unfortunately, most people fail to see how Allah wants to use problems for good in their lives.
They react foolishly and resent their problems rather than pausing to consider what benefit they
might bring.
Here are five ways Allah wants to use the problems in your life:

1. Allah uses problems to DIRECT you.
Sometimes God must light a fire under you to get you moving. Problems often point us in a new
direction and motivate us to change. Is God trying to get your attention? “Sometimes it takes a
painful situation to make us change our ways.”

2. Allah uses problems to INSPECT you.

People are like tea bags…if you want to know what’s inside them, just drop them into hot ever
water! Has God tested your faith with a problem What do problems reveal about
you? “When you have many kinds of troubles, you should be full of joy, because you know that these
troubles test your faith, and this will give you patience.”

3. Allah uses problems to CORRECT you.

Some lessons we learn only through pain and failure. It’s likely that as a child your parents told
you not to touch a hot stove…. But you probably learned by being burned. Sometimes we only learn
the value of something… health, money, a relationship.. .. by losing it. “It was the best thing
that could have happened to me, for it taught me to pay attention to your laws.”

4. Allah uses problems to PROTECT you.

A problem can be a blessing in disguise if it prevents you from being harmed by something more
serious.. Last year a friend was fired for refusing to do something unethical that his boss had
asked him to do. His unemployment was a problem – but it saved him from being convicted and sent to
prison a year later when management’s actions were eventually discovered. “You intended to harm me,
but God intended it for good…”

5. Allah uses problems to PERFECT you.

Problems, when responded to correctly, are character builders. God is far more interested in your
character than your comfort. Your relationship to God and your character are the only two things
you’re going to take with you into eternity. “We can rejoice when we run into problems…they help us
learn to be patient.. And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us trust God more
each time we use it until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady.”
Here’s the point:

God is at work in your life – even when you do not recognize it or understand it.

But it’s much easier and profitable when you cooperate with Him.

“Success can be measured not only in achievements, but in lessons learned, lives touched and

moments shared along the way”

Allah Knows Best…

Relationship Quotes

People often ask, "What's wrong with my relationship?" or "Why are relationships so hard?" There are several good answers, but let's first look at the questions and why they are even posed.

When people wonder why their relationship is so difficult, the underlying assumption is that it shouldn't be. There is an implied belief and expectation that a good relationship should come naturally, easily. This is a remnant of the myth of romantic love and its subsequent cultural conditions that "love is the answer" to all our life's struggles.

There seems to be a collective fantasy that "when the right person comes along", we will join together in perfect harmony and move through life together like paired ice skaters -- flowing flawlessly, effortlessly. Then when we stumble (have conflict) we worry, "What's wrong" Why is this so hard?"

Maybe the answer is, "There's nothing wrong. By their very nature relationships will be difficult, and sometimes very difficult." Here's why.

First, most of us desire relationships that are satisfying and meaningful before we have even developed a good relationship with ourselves. We somehow expect to be able to connect deeply with another person before we have connected even superficially with ourselves.

Culturally, self-reflection and exploration are seen as indulgent or wasteful, yet we are pressed to enter into emotionally committed relationships before we've given ourselves a chance to explore who we are, what we believe and feel at our cores, what our strengths and frailties may be. Often relationship struggles are the outer reflection of our inner struggle to find and define self.

Secondly, relationships are hard because they require balancing two basic and conflicting human drives: the need to be a separate, autonomous self (and the individual freedom this implies) with the need to be connected with other (and the compromise/negotiation this requires).

Many relationship issues revolve around this basic dilemma, we may err on the side of being too separate (distanced emotionally or physically) or of being too close (emotionally fused, Siamese-twin style). Finding and maintaining our own natural rhythm and movement in this "dance of relationship" is no easy task, and may require a lifetime to master.

Doesn't this all point to the reality of the inherent difficulty of relationships? Imagine if we began to anticipate and even embrace these struggles as the process by which we come to deeply know ourselves and others, to develop and mature toward our fullest capacities. What a shift in perspective!

Think of it this way: We are born into the river of life each in our own boat. You can't get into my boat and have your own life, and I can't get in your boat and have my life. Trouble arises when you try to climb in my boat or expect me to climb in yours. We each have to struggle to learn to paddle our own boats, and to negotiate the different currents of the river.

Sometimes, you may prefer to paddle by the bank while I prefer the middle, or you may be ready to go farther and faster before I am. But sometimes -- perhaps even often as the years go by -- we may find ourselves choosing to paddle close together, in a synchronized pace, toward a mutual destination.

Will I return?

Reality of life 2010

A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university
professor. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and in life. Offering his
guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an
assortment of cups - porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite - telling them to help themselves to the coffee.

When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said: "If you noticed, all the
nice looking expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is
normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and
stress.

What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups

and were eyeing each other's cups. Now consider this: Life is the coffee, and the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to
hold and contain Life, and do not change the quality of Life. Sometimes, by concentrating only on
the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee God has provided."

So, don't let the cups drive you ... enjoy the coffee instead.

hope u guys don’t loose the things just for the asthetic look …

Drinking Milk Helps Weight Loss

We've got all sorts of things for weight loss: pills, diet books, surgery, and even vibrating machines you strap around your belly. But, who would have thought the answer would be as simple as drinking milk.

A new study claims consuming milk and calcium helped people lose more weight, regardless of diet.

But, before you go out and buy your own personal dairy cow, take a look at who sponsored the study.

Writing in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, experts found study participants (300 overweight men and women, ages 40 to 65, on either a low-fat, Mediterranean, or low-carb diet) with the highest dairy calcium intake, 12 ounces of milk - equal to 580 milligrams of dairy calcium - lost 12 pounds at the end of two years, regardless of the diet style.

On the flipside, people with the lowest dairy calcium intake, 150 milligrams of dairy calcium, about half a glass of milk, only lost seven pounds.

The magic might not just be in the milk or the calcium. The researchers say vitamin D levels were higher in the people who lost the most weight. Vitamin D is a nutrient that acts like a hormone, and helps facilitate calcium absorption. Other sources of vitamin D include fatty fish like salmon and algae supplements.

But, the research has a fatal, and sadly all too common flaw, it was supported by the Dr. Robert C. and Veronica Atkins Research Foundation, i.e. a fad diet company. Atkins advocates a high-fat diet for weight-loss, eating foods like bacon, steak, eggs, and of course milk, so you've got to raise an eyebrow. It's the same as a cigarette maker backing research that claims inhaling tobacco smoke actually improves lung health. Fail.

7 Surprising Secrets of Successful Weight Loss

Ever wanted to know the techniques and tricks used by those who successfully lost weight, and kept it off?

Thanks to a scintillating survey conducted by popular weight loss site SparkPeople - we've now got some road-tested tips to give you the best chance at managing weight.

As part of an updated paperback version of the bestselling book The Spark, (new edition here), the authors at Sparkpeople undertook a comprehensive survey of over 2,000 members. Why do 50% of people report losing momentum within 2 weeks of starting a diet? And why do 18% fizz out within just 3 days?

The answer is the 'strong start'. These strong starters lost twice as much weight in the first two weeks, and were five times more likely to reach goals than the false starters.

Secrets of the Strong Start

1. Track Food and Calories

Both strong and false starters ranked "food tracking" as the one action that made the biggest difference in their programs. 82% of strong starters tracked food every day vs. 65% of false starters, and strong starters were twice as likely to track their calories.

2. Don't put certain foods off limits

Strong starters were less likely to label foods "good" or "bad" and forsake certain foods, and were three times more likely to use portion control techniques that supported consumption of unhealthier foods in moderation.

3. Spend LESS time exercising

On average, strong starters exercised for 30 minutes during the first two weeks; false starters for 60 minutes, suggesting that false starters burned themselves out.

4. Focus on both diet and exercise

74 percent of false starters made both fitness and dietary changes from the outset, compared to 50 percent offalse starters.

5. Engage more with others/have a support network

Strong starters were more than twice as likely to communicate with other members online.

6. Weigh yourself weekly, not daily

Most strong starters weighed themselves weekly, while the majority of false starters did so daily.

7. Focus first and foremost on developing healthy habits, not losing weight

Most strong starters viewed their #1 goal as "building a strong foundation of healthy habits." A majority of false starters made losing 3-4 pounds in their first two weeks their #1 goal, which backfired.

Welcome to Russia 2018 World Cup Bid Official Promo

Russia gets 2018 World Cup, Prince William is sad

Things were going so well for Prince William. He just got engaged to a lovely lady, he helped give a fantastic World Cup bid presentation at FIFA headquarters, he got to stand near David Beckham's hair. Things really couldn't have been going any better (aside from the British media agitating FIFA by exposing it as corrupt and nefarious).

And then, Sepp Blatter announced Russia as the host of the 2018 World Cup -- England's World Cup -- and soon after it trickled out that England didn't even make it out of the first round of voting and only got two votes. Two. Out of 22. One of which was England's own vote. This is the reaction it provoked from the future king...

The harsh reality sets in. His eyes go cold as he silently vows to invade FIFA with brutal, merciless force when he does become King of England. If, you know, he had that power.

Facebook Mafia Wars Cheats - 2010

For every computer game available, on-line or offline, there are secret codes or cheats to get players ahead in the game quickly. Google "Facebook Mafia War cheats" and the reader will be rewarded with a barrage of sites claiming to have the secret cheats or codes.

There are some scripts out there to automate a few actions of the game. One script touts that it automatically sends friend invites to players in the fight window. It may or may not work all the time. Players can advance faster by strategizing instead of hunting cheats.

Grow the Family

In Mafia Wars, players form mob families by inviting other Facebook members to join. The more family members a mob has, the stronger they are. The first and ultimately most important key to advancing is to keep the mob family growing. This can be done in a couple of ways:

1 Players invite all of their friends to join
2 Link to other players on one of the many ‘add me’ pages in FB, thousand of players network on these pages
3 Reciprocate when players join their mob family – Mafia War players can be members of more than one mob

Family Defense

Family members need to be able to defend themselves. It is up to the Boss to make sure each team member has defensive tools. As the family accumulates wealth, the boss should make sure each member has weapons, vehicles, etc.

* Initially, funds will be low, the Boss should focus on growing wealth in order to take care of family
* As wealth is accumulated, Boss should purchase each member of family more weapons

Increase the Wealth

Each Mob Boss will have different strategies for accumulating wealth. Some families focus on more jobs and payouts while other families are more involved in property acquisitions. These strategy tips will help increase the family wealth regardless of the ultimate goal:

* In the early levels of game play, purchase properties with a low investment cost and decent return rate. Mafia Mike’s Delis are an excellent choice; however, the number available for purchase is dependent on the number of family members.
* As the money increases purchase high end properties – the key is to purchase as many as possible at one time. Once a purchase is made, the price increases for the next purchase.
* Beware of the upkeep cost of some high end weapons and vehicles. Make sure money flow is sufficient to cover the costs.

Using Points Strategically

With each level up, players are given reward points by the Godfather. These can be used to increase a variety of attributes, such as attack, defense, energy and more. Where to apply these points depends on the Mafia Boss’ strategy.

* Knocking off rivals and going for kills: this strategy requires using reward points to increase attack, defense, and stamina attributes. This allows the player to knock off other mobs and engage in more fights while staying strong themselves.
* Money Accumulation: this strategy requires putting most reward points into the energy level. Energy enables the family to do more jobs, thus acquiring more money.

Mafia War players also have the option of buying reward points from the Godfather, if they so choose. Additionally, there are often special weapons or incentives available that can only be purchased with reward points.

Mafia Wars is an extremely popular game that has become the rage around the world. Players who are looking for shortcuts to bypass the actually playing of the game might not find what they are looking for, however, employing a few secrets to advancing their mob can prove to be just as valuable.

Mafia War Tips - How to do well in facebook mafia war 2010

1. Play a Maniac. The Jobs are a much better source of experience and cash then fighting and this way you earn more of both instead of just more cash.

2. {{{Don't add to your mafia right away!}}} I can not stress this enough! You want a Mafia Mikes and a Bloody Chainsaw for every 2 members of your mafia but the amount of members you need for another one is based on your current members. That means if you buy a Bloody Chainsaw when you have 12 members, accept 8 members, buy another BC, then you will need 22 members to buy another one instead of the 16 you would have needed.
In short accept 2 members at a time and buy both before accepting more.

3. Put all of your upgrade points into energy. Fighting might be cool but it won't level you quickly. Every time you level your energy is reset so with high energy you can do the harder and therefore more valuable missions plus you won't have to wait as long to do more of them. You will be amazed how fast you level this way.

4. Even though fighting is not your best source of income it can be good. As long as your mafia is well equipped (I'll get to that in a moment) you should be able to beat anyone with an equal or lesser sized mafia. You get the same amount of experience and cash no matter how big their mafia is so don't be afraid to pick on the little guys. If you gain the maximum amount of cash when you beat someone 70,000 you should not only keep attacking them but bookmark their profile and try attacking them later after they are healed.

5. There are 2 ways of equipping your mafia. Looting and buying. The higher the mission the better the loot and sometimes you loot in fights but to be safe you should buy enough equipment to cover every member of your mafia. With your high energy to do jobs and buying Mafia Mikes' every 2 members you will have plenty of cash.

Weapons: Bloody Chainsaw is a great weapon and half of your mafia should have one. The other half should be equipped with Chain Guns. Once you start looting .50 Caliber Rifle or better you can use it in place of a Chain Gun.

Armor: Not only is Body Armor the best armor you can buy but it is the first thing you should buy enough of to cover all of your members. Other items you might buy as you earn cash but these are cheap.

Cars: The weapons and armor are cheaper and therefore a priority but when you are rolling in cash the Towncar is the best you can buy.
(There may be better things to buy but not until you are level 99.)

6. Avoid the Hitlist like the plague. While putting hits on people is fun it only draws attention to yourself and there's nothing to stop a level 100+ whacking you just for kicks. If someone takes a hit out on you you'll die and lose some experience but let it end there. You want to stay below the radar and gather your forces quietly

7. Spend your cash on items for your mafia whenever possible but don't buy more then you need. If you have cash and nothing to buy bank it. The 10% you lose is usually better then repeatedly losing 70,000 from someone farming you for cash.

8. The best jobs for exp and usually cash are:
Levels 1-4 Auto Theft
5-8 Bank Heist
9-12 Museum Break-in
13-17 Wiretap the Cops
18+ I'm currently level 22 and Wiretap the Cops is still the best choice.

9. And of course send me an invite if you want another mafia member :)

I hope this helps some of you who are feeling lost.
